My brother once told me that the hardest part about making a decision is to make the decision. When he ventured out to start his own company, he must have had doubts about its success. He summed up his decision making process in one word- Jump. Just jump and see where your feet land. That means taking a chance that you will be unsuccessful, lose money, and confidence in yourself. It also means taking a chance that you will have an impact, people will use your service and you will learn things along the way.
So, without a lot of experience in starting a business, I am about to Jump and take a chance. I want to weave my love for canoe travel with my passion for puttering. Along the way I expect to learn more about canoe repair, connect with like-minded people, and connect people back to nature through their canoe.
